4WD And Ute Wheel And Tyre Packages

We offer packages for work utes, touring 4WDs and off-road builds. Tell us your vehicle’s year, series and variant, plus any changes to the suspension, brakes, guards or body. Our team verifies wheel width and diameter, bolt pattern, centre bore, offset, tyre size and clearance. For towing or heavy work, our team also verifies wheel and tyre load ratings against the vehicle’s approved limits.

For 6×139.7 utes such as the Hilux, Ranger, D-MAX and BYD Shark 6, the Nomad N232 17×8.5 package starts at $1,200. The King Growler 17×9 starts at $1,660. Moving to 18″ adds about $120 per set.

You'll need different tread patterns and load ratings depending on whether you tow, do regular city runs or go off-roading. If your new wheels and tyres stay within your vehicle’s approved sizes, you do not need a lift. In NSW, a 4WD can increase tyre diameter by up to 50 mm over the largest factory size without engineering certification. A 33-inch tyre is about 63 mm taller than a Hilux SR5’s factory 265/60R18, so that setup usually needs certification and often a lift. A 35-inch setup generally needs a lift and changes to offset or body clearance.

EV Wheel And Tyre Packages

Check wheel load rating and tyre load index carefully for an EV. A Tesla Model Y Performance can weigh 2,072 kg, depending on the variant. Its wheels must support the approved axle loads. The tyres need the correct size, load index and speed rating. Some EV-focused tyres are designed to manage higher weight, road noise and rolling resistance.

If you choose a larger wheel, keep the wheel and tyre combination close to the original overall diameter. VSB 14 limits passenger-car tyre diameter increases to 15 mm over a manufacturer-designated size. A shorter sidewall can make the ride more bumpy on an uneven track. Wheel weight, tyre construction and pressure also affect the ride, so a larger wheel alone does not promise better range or handling.

How A Package Is Built, Fitted And Delivered

After you order, our team verifies the fitment details. We confirm the fit within 1–2 business days and call if the combination needs to change. Once approved, we mount and balance the four tyres, add the installation kit and wrap each wheel with speciality bubble wrap and double padding to help protect it in transit.

For NSW and VIC metro destinations, we require 1–2 working days for delivery after assembly. Rural destinations in those states take 2–4 working days. Other locations may take longer. How Long Does Delivery Take?

For in-stock packages, add 1–2 business days for fitment confirmation. After assembly, delivery takes 1–2 working days in metro NSW and VIC or 2–4 in rural areas of those states. Pre-orders can take up to 12 weeks.
