SHOP FOR WHEELS
Take your next 4WD adventure to the next level with a set of LED driving lights from AutoCraze. LED lighting technology has changed the way for the four-wheel drive world, and we love it. Typically, LED driving lights draw less energy, and last much longer and aren't as fragile.
Getting a set of LED driving lights could be one of the essential 4x4 accessories you can get for your 4WD if you're going off-road. Especially if you're going to be driving around at night with your friends and family, you don't want to drive blindly into raging kangaroos and wild wombats once it's gotten all dark.
The LED lighting is affordable and a great way to upgrade your 4WD, SUV, or van. LED driving lights or LED spotlights uses a fraction of the power compared to halogen and still produces a beautiful bright, powerful light.
Before you buy your LED Driving Lights
When you're buying your first set of LED driving lights, there are a few factors to take into consideration:
What terrain are you driving on and how often will you change between them?
If you're planning to take your 4WD onto a wide variety of terrains then picking the right set of LED driving lights is crucial. You'll have to determine whether your LED driving light has good protection against solids, water, and dust.
Is the LED driving lights you're buying for the right conditions and terrains?
Fog - If you're going to drive in a foggy terrain then you're going to need a duller colour temperature, either a halogen or amber LED light. Typically, a fog light should be pointed down at the road and directed ours to the sides. The reason for this is so that the fog will reflect the bright light at you.
Rain, sleet and snow - Very similar to fog, you will get reflection but not as bad. Getting a 20"- ish light bar will be much better than a set of 9" spotlights because it doesn't throw too much light. If you get any form of roof lighting, it'll just light up what's falling out of the sky in front of your eyes. This will make it harder to see and will be a hindrance to your driving.
Dust - If you're going to be driving on a dusty environment then an amber light bar will be your best option as big bright light won't help in the dust. As they won't shine through the dust, but rather it'll light it up.
