To celebrate the warmer months ahead, we collaborated with PHAT Wraps and decided to make the most of Spring by hosting a Block Party for the community at our venue! This event was held on the 11th October and we were fortunate to have Nicholas Lee as our photographer. There were over 200 cars in attendance and with a DJ dropping some awesome beats, accompanied by clear blue skies, and a BBQ, what was not to love?

AutoCraze is a retailer with a strong online presence, which specializes in aftermarket wheels, tyres, suspension and accessories for your vehicles! We carry a wide range of brands such as Rays, Enkei, XXR, and Concave Concept just to name a few! The company was founded by passionate people who have worked in the automotive industry for a combined total of over 30 years. We’re talking about people who were the masterminds behind one of the biggest stores for wheels and tyres ever created.  If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your car, be sure to browse our online website!

To lighten up the atmosphere, AutoCraze secured Hot Import Nights Model Jasmine Vo and Zia Rae! These two beautiful women were so friendly and happily interacted with the Show & Shine entrants and modeled for their cars. They also chatted to the general public and other vendors and were happy to answer their questions. Kudos to these ladies as they largely contributed to the success of the day!

The trio kicking back together on the hood, enjoying some laughs. This Civic changes wheels on a monthly basis! Every time I see this car, he is running a new set of shoes!

This was undoubtedly one of the main attractions of the day! A child in a remote controlled, slammed LB Walk Aventador; Start them young right?

Drift School Australia who is one of our partners was in full force, bringing 3 of their very own race cars. What is there not to love about turbo charged, high performance cars?

Queen Street also brought their holy grail, the Liberty Walk wide body R35 GTR. This car is such a head turner, it utilises Aircup suspension, allowing the driver to raise and lower the car at their heart’s desire.

However, that wasn’t the finale! Queen Street’s widebody C63 AMG and Lamborghini Murcielago graced our views. They also had numerous other cars at their trade stand.

To hype up the day, we also ran a raffle competition, which consisted of desirable prizes such car accessories as well as thrill rides sponsored by Drift School Australia! I’m sure the prize winners will certainly enjoy sliding around a racetrack in high powered, turbo cars with Fernando and his team of talented drivers.

Next came the trophies. We wanted to create something which expressed our passion for wheels. Thus we utilised custom BBS RS lips combined with Perspex and bolts to unify the pieces together. There were 5 trophies up for grabs and the categories were:

  • Best Fitment (Royal Flush)
  • Most Unique (One of a Kind)
  • Crowd Favourite (Show Stopper)
  • Best Crew (Squad Goals)
  • Best of Show (All Eyes On Me)

Brent’s air bagged Civic sedan on a set of custom-built BBS RS wheels won the Royal Flush award. His car sits on the pavement as it is aired out and is certainly one of the lowest cars at the event. Furthermore, the amount of custom work Brent has put into his car is phenomenal. He is running modified suspension components from newer model Civics just to make it all work!

Luke’s Evo 9 painted in Midnight Purple III was awarded the All Eyes on Me trophy! His spectacular Evo incorporates various Voltex widebody components all moulded together by Concept Garage and painted by Queen Street Customs. I could look at this car all day and never get sick of it!

This Nissan Murano from Simplex Crew was bestowed the One of a Kind award. Equipped with an air suspension setup, this 4WD can lower itself to tuck tyre!

The Squad Goals award was taken out by Stance Slutz crew, which have been in the scene for numerous years. Jenny claimed the award in her WRX which sits so perfectly on a set of bronze Work Meisters. The different aero parts on her Subaru seriously accentuate the lines of the car!

Launch was awarded the Show Stopper trophy! This car means serious business, it was certainly the loudest car on the day and the super charger was ginormous, it would not fit inside the engine bay. The rear tyres were wider than a trucks and getting in and out of the car was made seemingly impossible with its array of track equipped gear consisting a roll cage to racing bucket seats, just to name the essentials.
